Lahore University elevates their student experience with SEDCO Queue Management Solution

Lahore University, the largest private sector university in Pakistan, adopted SEDCO Queue Management Solution to elevate their student care.  The queuing system enables over 35,000 of the university students to join the virtual queue and to better manage their journey across administration facility and clinic.

Students no longer need to wait in queues at the administration office. The system empowers students to reserve an appointment via a mobile app. Upon arrival at the administration, students can directly head to the concerned department/office to be served. Walk-in students can also join the virtual queues by printing tickets from the token kiosks.

At the university’s clinic, students can also reserve appointments through the mobile app for more convenience. After arriving at the clinic for their appointments, students can check-in using a QR code that they can scan from the kiosks.

Students who get sick can conveniently walk in the clinic and also join the virtual queues by printing tickets from the queuing kiosks, streamlining between pre-booked and walk-in students effortlessly. They are then called forward for their appointments while resting comfortably via audio announcement or they can check their queue status on digital screens. Moreover, the smart screen system displays dynamic and relevant content for students to engage with, as well as inform them about the latest university services, policies and regulations.

The university’s management can get deep insights and reports to stay updated about university performance and student activity, centrally monitor university activity in real-time, and receive alerts whenever an issue arises.

The management can also stay up to date on how to improve student care by receiving student feedback via the mobile app.
